400 bullets prevent ship highjacking

A Malta-flagged and Greek-owned bulk carrier with the MSI security crew onboard was attacked during last night, April 12th, open of Seychelles. The pirates made three attempts to hijack the ship but were deterred by the armed guards. The battle lasted for more than eight hours and the MSI protection forces used more than 400 bullets to repel the invaders. The pirates suffered heavy losses and as a result they retreated early in the morning. No one on board was injured or hurt.
